ABOUT STUDIO C

Philippe has been passionate about music since his childhood. He decided to share his love of music by founding Studio C School of Music. His dynamism and commitment make Studio C a teaching and gathering place appreciated by both teachers and students. Philippe studied Communication and Management at the University of Montreal as well as at HEC Montreal. He is now responsible for coordinating the school’s activities.

Stéphanie Collerette takes part in several activities in the classical and popular music space. She is a cellist in a string quartet, the Orpheus Quartet ( www.quatuororphee.com ) and is also part of the group Montreal Rhapsody Orchestra ( www.mtlrhapsody.com ). It is through on-stage and in-studio collaborations with different artists and arrangers (Antoine Gratton, Adam Cohen, Jorane, Elisapie Isaac, Daniel Bélanger, Martin Léon, Pascale Picard, Amylie, Maxime Landry, Pierre Lapointe, Florence K, Christian Sbrocca) that she drew her inspiration. Besides, she has also performed with internationally renowned artists (Kanye West, Mika, Trans-Siberian Orchestra, Barry Manilow, Josh Groban). In 2009, she obtained a Master’s degree in music and interpretation, from the University of Montreal. In addition to teaching cello and piano at Studio C, she teaches cello at Lionel-Groulx College.

Vincent was part of the External Sacré-Coeur Orchestra for five years as a tenor saxophonist. Passionate about both acoustic and electric guitar, he has been playing them since the age of 10. His interest in singing developed after playing a role in the Grease musical. He is currently studying singing, popular music interpretation, at the Lionel-Groulx Cegep in Ste-Thérèse. Vincent is also a guitarist and a singer with the music group The Psychic Shades, with whom he performs in many events.

Isabelle is responsible for coordinating all of the school’s activities, both in terms of schedules and teacher-parent-student communications, and she is also responsible for the school’s social media and promotion components. Do not hesitate to contact her for any questions regarding courses, prices, location rentals, trial courses or any other question. She is on-site from Monday to Friday until 5 pm and will be happy to chat with you.

Annie’s love of music and song begins at the tender age of 4. Very quickly, she enrolled in singing lessons and pursued them for the better part of her childhood and adolescence. She registered at Lionel-Groulx CEGEP in Pop Singing in 2014, where she refined her vocal technique for the next three years and learned musical theory and music theory. After completing her DEC, she began her university studies in Jazz Singing at the University of Montreal in 2017. Despite her love for Jazz, Annie had the opportunity to learn and try out several different musical genres during her studies and has been teaching singing for the last three years. In 2015, she appeared on the TVA program “Faire comme chez vous” hosted by Maripier Morin and “La Voix” in 2017.

Louis started playing the guitar at the age of 11 and very quickly became hooked. He developed a taste for Jazz when he joined his high school’s jazz band. He is currently completing a technique in Jazz / Pop Music at Lionel-Groulx CEGEP, which will later help him open doors in the music industry.

Olivier is immersed in the musical world since his childhood with two parents teaching music. Self-taught, he learned to play drums by himself with passion throughout his youth to eventually join his current band, The Psychic Shades, with whom he has performed in many concerts. More recently, the band played at Saputo Stadium during the Montreal Impact matches. Having worked for four years as a tennis coach in a private club teaching students ranging from 2-year-olds to adults, Olivier has excellent pedagogical knowledge. He can reach every student with his approach. He has been working at studio C for almost two years giving Djembe and drums lessons in genres as varied as Reggae and Heavy metal. His dynamism and his desire to bring out the best in his students have already triggered several great performances at the school’s end-of-session shows, and he will not hesitate to join students who need percussion during their presentation.

Peter Warnet is above all a composer/performer who, through his music, transports us into a relaxed and bewitching universe. Atmospheric and organic sound textures are felt in his musical works. As a teenager, Peter joined his school’s orchestra, and he developed a strong passion for music. With his classmates, he founded the Metal PHEAR band. This quickly aroused local interest. Singer, composer and band-leader, he leads his band to play at Club Soda, Alizée and Medley, Montreal. He then proceeded to open Le Sous-Sol studio, a community project offering young people from his neighbourhood an opportunity to record for free. To follow up on a few years of musical exploration, the sounds of the legendary 909 drum machine appeal to him more than any other percussion instrument. A producer for almost three years, Peter incorporates elements of classical music and World Music in his productions to create a mesmerizing musical journey. Also, Peter was in charge of programming for the Vortex, a weekly evening where his experience allowed him to meet several DJs from the Montreal Techno scene. This is what inspired him to launch the movement EARTH’S, to introduce us to a high-level multisensory experience. The electronic music producer made it his mission, with the help of his team, to take the Montreal Electronic scene to new heights.

At a young age, Antoine began his piano training. At 14, he leans toward part composition, which will awaken in him a passion for creation and music technology. In 2016, he began his studies at Lionel-Groulx College in Composition and Arrangement of Pop / Jazz music. He is currently in his final session of this program.

At the age of 9, she performed her first solos. She learned to play the organ, classical singing at the conservatory and studied music teaching at UQAM. Discovered on TV at the age of 15, she performs with Quebec artists such as Diane Tell, Nancy Martinez, Chloé Ste-Marie, Joël Denis and others… A complete artist, both soloist and chorister, she has a vast repertoire ranging from Pop to Jazz, Country, Retro, Latin, amongst others, and her original songs for which she signed music and lyrics. Always active and passionate about singing, she took part in various on-stage, in-studio and TV activities in the last fifteen years, in addition to offering vocal coaching to prepare the next generation of singers while sharing her passion. She is currently preparing for a solo show entitled “My life in songs.”
