Philippe has been passionate about music and entrepreneurship since childhood. He decided to share his love of music by founding Studio C École de Musique in 2013. His dynamism and involvement make Studio C a place of teaching and gathering appreciated by teachers and students alike. Philippe studied Communication and Management at the Université de Montréal and HEC Montréal. He is now in charge of coordinating the school’s activities.

Vincent was part of the Externat Sacré-Cœur orchestra for five years as a tenor saxophonist. Passionate about the guitar, which he has played both acoustic and electric since the age of 10, his interest in singing developed after playing a role in the musical Grease. He then continued his studies in singing and guitar at Cégep Lionel-Groulx in Ste-Thérèse, then in guitar at UQAM where he completed a bachelor’s degree in artistic practice. Vincent is also the singer of the tribute band Motel Capri, dedicated to the Cowboys Fringants, and guitarist in several groups that perform at events. Since 2024, he has been in charge of the administration of the Studio C school. His professionalism, enthusiasm and passion for music contribute to the management and smooth running of the school.

Louis Godbout is a passionate professional guitarist and musician, who started playing guitar at the age of 11. His musical journey took a more serious turn when he completed a professional technique in music at Cégep Lionel-Groulx, before obtaining a bachelor’s degree in artistic practice at UQAM. Since 2016, Louis has been teaching guitar at Studio C, where he has also been involved in an administrative role as Director of Operations since 2022. As a freelance musician, he collaborates with many artists in various genres, and is part of the group Lendemain de Veille as a guitarist. His musical expertise and commitment to the artistic community are a testament to his passion and professionalism.

At a very young age, Antoine began learning the piano. At 14, he turned to musical composition, which would awaken a passion in him for creation and musical technology. In 2016, he began his studies at Collège Lionel-Groulx in Composition and Arrangement of pop/jazz music, from where he graduated in 2019 to pursue a career in composition for media.

At the age of 9, she performed her first solos. She learned the organ, classical singing at the Conservatory, and studied music education at UQAM. Discovered on TV at the age of 15, she evolved alongside Quebec artists such as Diane Tell, Nancy Martinez, Chloé Ste-Marie, Joel Denis and others… A complete artist, both soloist and chorister, her repertoire ranges from pop to jazz, country, retro, Latin and others, as well as her original songs for which she writes the lyrics and music. Always active and passionate about singing, she participates in various productions on stage, in the studio and on TV, throughout Canada and the United States. Teaching singing and piano has been an integral part of her activities for 15 years, in addition to offering vocal coaching to prepare the next generation and share her passion. In preparation for a solo show entitled “Ma vie en chansons”.

Calm, curious and artistic by nature, Tanya discovered her passion for the piano at the age of 8. She studied classical piano in Montreal and obtained her diplomas from the Conservatoire de l’École de musique Vincent-d’Indy. Throughout her 10 years of learning and development, she had the opportunity to participate in the Inter-provincial Festival of Classical Music in Ottawa, two years in a row. She came out with two 1st places, two 2nd places and a 3rd place, being noted for her technique and interpretation in solo piano, piano duo and mixed duo.

Tanya works in the field of interior design, music is an integral part of her creative process and inspires her a lot to refine her creativity. A music lover at heart, through jazz, pop and electronics, she does not hesitate to immerse herself in these different styles for her own musical culture.

Shawn is a passionate musician who began his musical journey at the age of 10 by learning the guitar. At 13, he had the opportunity to participate in the thirteenth edition of the Montreal Jazz Festival Blues Camp, marking the beginning of his immersion in the professional world of music. Throughout his schooling, he was a member of a music concentration in high school, strengthening his passion and musical skills. Subsequently, he pursued specialized studies at Collège Lionel-Groulx, where he obtained two diplomas in Professional Technique in interpretation, composition and arrangement of popular music. Although Shawn is passionate about all musical styles, he particularly finds his pleasure in Metal, Progressive/Alternative Rock, Pop, Country and Bluegrass, which he enjoys exploring through his compositions and performances.

Passionate about singing since a young age, Claudia performs in various shows and competitions. While she has been perfecting her instrument for almost 15 years, she stands out for her great control of nuances as well as the richness of her vocal timbre. Having learned the guitar and piano as a teenager, she has been writing and composing songs in French and English for several years. In 2019, she went to the regional finals of Cégeps en spectacle with one of her original songs.

Shin-jung started at the age of 7 by practicing violin and piano in Taiwan, where she is from. She then completed her studies at the conservatory in France to improve her skills. She participated in several concerts, including the “Jazz in Marciac” festival with the Toulouse student orchestra for the concert of the singer Stacey Kent. She uses music theory and singing to complete her musical knowledge. She will be happy to share and exchange Taiwanese culture in music.

Formerly a student at Collège Lionel-Groulx in popular singing, she has participated in several shows and musicals. She has been perfecting her instrument since she was little with her father and grandfather, a former saxophonist. Listening to your needs, it is with her big smile and her joy of life that she will put her teaching talents into practice, to develop techniques specific to each of her students and allow them to grow at their own pace. Considered kind and caring, she is also a pure enthusiast, both a decorator, tutor and in customer service for 8 years now. She will be happy to help you surpass yourself and develop, as she has been able to do by cultivating her passions for many years.

She began her career at the age of 7 with singing, but her musical curiosity quickly led her to explore other instruments such as the piano, guitar and synthesizers. Mathilde gained stage experience by entering various competitions and in 2023, she performed at the Santa Teresa festival in Sainte-Thérèse.

Morgane has been a singer-songwriter since December 2021. It was first place in the 2022 Blainville en Chanson competition that propelled her into the artistic world. Music has been
a part of her life forever. She has been able to play the clarinet and piano since elementary school. It was
opening acts like those for Corneille and Luce Dufault as well as competitions that made her
known in the world of music. A new experience is now opening up to her:

Drum teacher, he has a college diploma in music from Cégep de Saint-Laurent. He also completed his bachelor’s degree in music education at UQAM. Always active in several musical projects, whether in the studio or in shows, he loves to share his vast experience as a drummer with the new generation. He is able to teach all styles; rock, pop, jazz, Latin, etc. His passion is contagious and it is a pleasure for him to be part of this great Studio C team!

Passionate about music since a young age, Clément will be interested in different instruments before settling on the drums, an instrument that he will perfect by devoting post-secondary studies to it. After completing a professional technique in song at Cégep Saint-Laurent, he will continue his studies at UQAM where he will complete a bachelor’s degree in artistic practice.

A versatile drummer, he accompanies different artists with varied styles on stage, from reggae to country to hip-hop, pop, and many others.

Always motivated by the idea of ​​being able to pass on his passion and knowledge to others, he will be delighted to accompany his students in their musical journey.

Simon is a passionate guitarist with over 10 years of experience. His musical journey was inspired by Michael Jackson’s classic “Beat It,” which sparked in him a desire to not only listen to music, but also to play it. Although he faced challenges at first, Simon overcame the obstacles through rigorous practice and unwavering determination. His style of choice is rooted in rock, metal, and alternative, with major influences such as Metallica and the Red Hot Chili Peppers. His passion for these genres is reflected in his playing and teaching approach, where he imparts not only technical skills, but also the energy and emotion that make the guitar so captivating. As a teacher, Simon is committed to sharing his expertise and helping his students develop their confidence and musical creativity, regardless of their level.

Emmanuelle est passionnée de musique et s’intéresse à une grande variété de styles. Elle a commencé à jouer du piano à l’âge de 15 ans et a rapidement développé une forte passion pour cet instrument. En 2023, elle a entrepris une formation en techniques professionnelles de musique, avec une spécialisation en composition et arrangement, au Collège Lionel-Groulx.

Son talent au piano, qui se distingue par une profonde sensibilité et une grande maîtrise technique, fait d’elle une musicienne remarquable. En tant qu’enseignante, Emmanuelle se consacre à offrir un enseignement de qualité, adapté aux besoins de chaque élève. Elle met un accent particulier sur l’écoute, l’accompagnement et l’atteinte des objectifs musicaux de ses élèves, tout en favorisant un environnement de travail stimulant et bienveillant.

Alicia started music at age 12 with group singing lessons. Very quickly, her passion for music pushed her to improve. She enrolled at Collège Lionel-Groulx where she obtained two DECs in four years: one in performance and the other in composition.

Emmanuelle is passionate about music and is interested in a wide variety of styles. She started playing the piano at the age of 15 and quickly developed a strong passion for this instrument. In 2023, she began training in professional music techniques, with a specialization in composition and arrangement, at Collège Lionel-Groulx.

Her talent on the piano, which is distinguished by a deep sensitivity and great technical mastery, makes her a remarkable musician. As a teacher, Emmanuelle is dedicated to providing quality teaching, adapted to the needs of each student. She places particular emphasis on listening, supporting and achieving her students’ musical goals, while promoting a stimulating and caring work environment.

Gaël has been passionate about music since he was very young. He discovered his calling in high school, starting with the alto saxophone, before devoting himself to the piano three years later. Seduced by the depth and versatility of this instrument, Gaël continued his training at Studio C, before enrolling in the popular music composition and arrangement program at Collège Lionel-Groulx. His teaching approach focuses on listening, adaptation and motivation, in order to help each student develop their potential and achieve their musical goals.

After three years of private piano lessons, David continued his studies for five years at the Conservatoire de musique de Val-d’Or, where he developed an in-depth mastery of musical theory and practice. Since then, he has continued to enrich his knowledge by exploring and performing popular songs, while composing his own pieces, whether on the piano or singing.

Passionate about teaching, David enjoys sharing his passion for music with beginners. Known for his patience and personalized approach, he ensures that his students receive tailored support, allowing them to progress while cultivating their pleasure in playing. His goal is to pass on his love of music and inspire his students to pursue their musical journey with enthusiasm.
